Okay….that matter taken care of. This is old news by now, mind. But better old news than none at all I suppose. Sparky got the axe on January 6th after the Potters trudging defeat by League 2 side Coventry City. So another Chelsea legend gone. Earlier in the year (sort of) on April 17th Sparky’s teammate and Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola voluntarily marched through the door marked Do One at Birmingham City and in those moments, a small part of an Era of Greatness was over.<\/p>\n

I was hoping it was West Bromwich Albion and not Stoke City that Sparky<\/del> Ailsa from Home & Away was fired from (for reasons that I might eventually make clear) but. it’s too early to reveal this link trinket of Knowledge yet….a crazy cuckoo cosmic connection awaits. I hope.<\/p>\n

Anyway, the actual Stoke City coach is now Paul Lambert…my old Norwich City fallen hero who coached the Canaries from League 1 to The Premier League in 2 consecutive season before traitorously turning his back the Canaries for the misguided and misbegotten allures of Aston Villa. Served him right. He should have stayed at Carrow Road.<\/p>\n

West Brom, who Chelsea play this Monday at the Bridge, are coached by Alan Pardew.<\/p>\n

It was Lee Mason, actually….so the reffing was fairly middling. Not that it mattered much since Chelsea went on to win 3-0….so Lee Mason was a non-factor.<\/p>\n

But yes…someone got fired and someone else SHOULD have gotten fired as well.<\/p>\n

I’m going to get to this little device as we go forward here. It’s going to come in handy during the upcoming World Cup in Russia….Soviet Russia. Instead the Baggies Chairman John Williams and the CEO Martin Goodman got lit up and bagged.<\/p>\n
